Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of FixLink at usefixlink.com and the FixLink Capture Chrome extension. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use FixLink for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. FixLink is intended for business and professional support work, not for children or personal emergency services.

Keep your account information accurate and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without permission.

You keep ownership of the guides, screenshots, text, branding, and other material you submit. You give FixLink a limited permission to host, process, display, and transmit that material only as needed to run the service and provide the features you choose.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to capture and publish your material. Do not record or publish passwords, payment details, secrets, regulated data, or another person's confidential information. Review every guide before publishing it, even when FixLink's blur and redaction tools are enabled.

You may not use FixLink to:

• Break the law, infringe another person's rights, or violate a duty of confidentiality.
• Create phishing, malware, deceptive, abusive, hateful, or sexually exploitative material.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass security or access controls.
• Scrape the service at scale, resell access without permission, or impersonate another person.
• Use automated systems in a way that harms FixLink or other users.

A guide becomes publicly accessible when you publish it. Anyone with its link may be able to view and share it. Unpublish or delete a guide if it should no longer be available. Search engines and third parties may retain copies that are outside FixLink's control.

FixLink offers free and paid plans. Current prices and included features appear before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record and handles checkout, taxes, payment processing, receipts, refunds, and chargebacks.

You can manage or cancel a subscription through the customer portal linked from your FixLink account. Cancellation stops future renewals, and paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period. Refund requests are reviewed case by case, subject to applicable law and Lemon Squeezy's payment policies.

FixLink and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the service; they do not transfer our intellectual property to you. Feedback you send may be used to improve FixLink without obligation to you.

FixLink relies on third-party services for hosting, authentication, email, billing, databases, and optional AI features. Their services and terms may also apply. We are not responsible for third-party products or outages outside our reasonable control.

We may improve, change, limit, or discontinue parts of FixLink. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address nonpayment, or respond to a breach of these Terms. You may stop using FixLink at any time.

FixLink is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or that automated blur and redaction will identify every sensitive item. You remain responsible for reviewing what you publish.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FixLink will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to FixLink during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please email us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any unresolved dispute will be handled by a court of competent jurisdiction in the Philippines, unless applicable law requires another forum.

We may update these Terms as FixLink changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights. Continuing to use FixLink after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
